I took on my first allotment last May and feel like I've been weeding and digging ever since! We've also been flooded three times since then, so it has certainly been a challenge so far - not that it has dampened my enthusiasm for it though! Finally I have some plants in the greenhouse and in the beds, and I harvested some lettuce last night, so have had some produce at last

I have to say this forum is great. I've only been using it a few days and have had some wonderful, friendly advice on a whole load of subjects. I look forward to getting alot more, and maybe one day dispensing some too!

Hi and welcome. With luck there won't be the amount of rainfall we had last year and your flooding worries might not happen again. Hope it's a good second season for you.
