Got the lottie late last year so this is the first real season. I am sure i will have lots of questions and have already got lots of info from reading your posts.
Hi Duk and welcome. What have you done so far on the lottie? Interested to know as I am On a waiting list for a plot and wondered what can be achieved in the first year. Was the plot very overgrown?
We have cabbages and onions planted late autumn so the cabbage is just lovely. Lots happening at present - more onions, garlic, shallots, cabbage, broccoli n potatoes in the ground n sweetcorn, leeks, runners waiting to go out. Seem to have gone a bit overboard with the tomato's (70+ at last count). I highly recommend it from an exercise point of view but i think the satisfaction is fab - seeing those little shoots poke thro the soil........... ah
