  • New too!!

Tried growing some things in pots last year with limited success so decided to invest in some raised beds in the garden this year.
Anyone any ideas on spacing in rased beds? Can things like salad crops be grown in between other things?

    Look forward to learning lots

    Hi, Welcome to The Vine!

I'm no expert but I tend to put things much closer together in my raised beds than in the ground, seems ok! Having said that I don't grow my big Brassicas in them, they go in the ground.
Yes you can grow salad crops between larger/slower growing crops, also companion planting is good to keep off pests, such as Tagetes, nasturtiums, garlic, onions etc

    Hope that's some help
Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!
Always aim for the best result possible not the best possible result

Thanks for the advise peanuts I'll give it a go. Trying to read up on it all but it's good to be able to ask other people with more expertise
