  • Hi All

    Hi to you all.

Well finally got round to posting my intro. I have got back my enthusiasm for gardening again and boy have I been busy.

Have now made 2 deep beds with a third nearly finished, the 2 completed have a first early potato and onions sets planted and sprouting and the other has some salad crops and dwarf beans sown with more to go.

Will keep you posted on progress.

    Thanks
    Dave

Welcome to the Vine Dave, you sound as if you've been very busy. Where abouts in Wiltshire are you? I hope you don't mind me asking but I used to live in Durrington (just on the Hants/Wilts border) and there are quite a few other Grapes living in Wiltshire - not that we're nosey, you understand

Well done - it's a great feeling isn't it, loking at what you've acheived after a busy session. Best of all is eating it!

Sorry for not replying sooner. Just been too tired after a hard days graft?

Have also been doing a few jobs in the garden before tea and a rest, have now covered the 2 plots in pond netting using 4 * 8ft plastic water pipe for the frames with 4 per plot, just push in both sides and you have a perfect arched support, great stuff, the cats will have to look elsewhere now and theres plenty of room for the plants to grow and easy to gain access.
