I'm new so be gentle with me.

I'm an expat living in France (nearly 4 years) and stumbled on this site whilst looking for advice on whether to let my angelica seed.

I'm an avid veggie grower and like to experiment with unusual seeds, herbs and plants.

We are in the Auvergne in the middle of France and have been here for nearly 2 years. I am still at the early stages of veg growing (this is my first serious year) I daren't do anything unusual or experimental so I will probably be asking you for advice

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, the weather is lovely now, thank goodness and I can now get back out into the garden and start weeding again.

Scarey be brave, try unusual stuff it's amazing what will grow in France. Anyway I can help just shout.

...do put your French location on your profile...tis a big country and many different local climates!!

We have recently bought a place in France and just created a potager ,a herb patch and fruit plot.

I'm trying globe artichoke,swiss chard and curley Kale which has completely baffled my French neighbours!!!! ( goodness knows what they'll say when we sow the parsnips!!!!!) The tall blueberry plants got them rather confused too!

No idea what will grow as it's different weather conditions to here in the UK.
Nice to learn through other people's experiences though isn't it??
