Hello - another newbie here!
We live in Sheffield, and have a tiny back garden which I've transformed into a gorgeous little spot - love it. My parents were obsessed with growing their own and we were pretty much self-sufficient with fruit, veg, herbs, bit of small livestock, etc. Although I didn't bother with gardening for a few years, you can only fight your upbringing for so long, and so have been GMO for about three years or so now and bought the first issue of GYO whenever that was!
We're on the lookout for a bigger house with a proper garden as my dream is asparagus beds and artichokes (there really is only so much you can in a small space...), so for now am satisfying my passion for vegetables in large pots and a tiny raised bed! I try different things each year - some successful - very proud of our Sheffield Outdoor Lemons and Melons two years ago! - and some total failures - sweetcorn, year after year...
Anyway, the sun's gorgeous, I'm on gardening - sorry - maternity leave - and I can't wait to see my garden grow this year!
Have a great day everyone!
