    new to computer technology,scarily in our 4th year of allotmenting!still far from being earthly wise!!we're about to take the plunge of getting some chickens.had some backyard bantams in the past,but still needing advice on caring 4 our breakfast suppliers!where we're building run still has past it's best parsnip &salsify,does anyone out there know if these o.k to leave 4 chooks 2 munch on the greens?don't want to poison them on day 1!!also does anyone have experience of keeping chickens & ducks 2gether?By the way we're from ipswich suffolk!

      don't be misled by the 4yrs!!we're def getting there,but the weeds&digging always seem 2 outdo us.spent the last 4 winters promising ourselves we'll get it all dug over b4 xmas,!next thing you know spring is sprung!!!mad panic 2 find\prepare ground 4 all the bits crammed in mini greenhouse!still lots of fun & end results well worth the hard work,also over the 4yrs the allotment community has grown loads,lots of families with kiddies same age as ours so"most of time"they got peeps 2 play with,makes huge difference,anyway,cheers 4 reply & happy growing!!
