  • Hello from Rugby

    Hi,
Another new member. My wife and i have an allotment in Rugby that we have had for a year now. It is quite large at 45 meters long by 13 meters wide.
We have had quite a few winter veg out already (P S Broccoli and W S Broccoli, Cabbage, & just about to harvest some good looking cauliflowers).

We are experimenting with lots of things that we haven't a clue what they taste like (Swiss Chard, artichoke, fennel etc.) so it will be an exiting year.

I am looking forward to chatting with you all and putting my (very humble) opinions forward ! :-)

    Cheers
    Steve & Val Griffiths

Hi and welcome. I like to try something new every year. Sometimes they become firm favourite - sometimes I never grow them again! Trying achocha this year - got it in a seed swap here. Happy growing.

How's your achocha coming along ma? Just realised this morning I've planted mine with woefully innadequate space! Just ordered a pair of cheap rose arches from fleabay, so should be able to rectify it at the weekend. Plants looked healthy enough when I planted them yesterday though.
