  • Hello!

Hello! Just found this site and joined. Got almost 2 acres of garden near Bath. Almost self-sufficient in fruit and veg. Couple of small greenhouses. Garden is on a steepish slope, faces south and has a 10 foot stone wall all round it. Main problems are keeping it watered - not a lot of topsoil and them limestone brash so water drains away very very quickly.

Also have a holiday house in Ireland - small traditional farmhouse with 20 acres and a lake - but that's another story!

Look forward to reading about all your garden experiences

If I had that much land I wouldn't do ANTHING else but garden. Don't do much else as it is! Welcome to the grapevine. You are among friends here!
