  • Hello from sunny west cumbria

Just joined today as a fairly total novice to gardening.
With a garden that has fantastic views of sunsets over the irish sea, i thought i might need all the help i can get! High winds and salty deposits,
fairly low temperatures high winds few frosts and high winds, it's an interesting environment.
Thanks for all the advice to those who're going to give it in advance.

I originally grew up on a garden overlooking the wild Atlantic Ocean but now live on the east coast (the other side of the Irish Sea)
Seaside gardening is challenging but lots of fun

We have members up in the Scottish Islands who really know what salty winds are! You just need to think about plants that need a shorter growing season - or get a polytunnel! Welcome.
Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
