  • Hello from a person with a rabbit problem

I found this site by accident while looking for things I could grow that won't get eaten by rabbits - seems potatoes & squashes are about the only thing? Anyone got any other ideas?

Rabbits will eat most things but they have never eaten my parsley, onions, garlic, leeks or courgettes - and I had loads of rabbits last year.
Whilst they did not eat my potatoes, they did dig into the ridges and pulled the spuds to bits. I couldn't work out what it was til I went out late one night and saw it

I used to keep rabbits for the table,,,,,, they had the run of my walled garden.
They would eat anything,,,, including garlic & onions !
Whilst this did help the flavour of the meat - it wasn't very pleasant when preparing the carcass !?!
try it once,,,,, you might like it !

Sadly their appetites are very similar to our own, so they will take most edibles. The only fruit trees they don't like are Plums; they will ring even established apples and pears.
