Hello from Mendips

Hi there, I'm a new member keen to learn from all you experts! I'm pretty hopeless at gardening, but would love to grow my own. This year I bought small plants in the hope that this would get me started, and have actually managed to grow some nice spinach and lettuce so far to the point of being able to eat it - much to the amazement of my OH (and myself to be honest). I'm located on the Mendips, it's very high here and much colder than lower lying areas which just serves to confuse things a little more as most plants come out a month or so later than the books say! Anyway, looking forward to learning and actually enjoying some produce this year. Cheers,

Welcome to the forum,we use to live in wells i was actualy born there always loved it but we have a new life now in a new country so good luck.
