  • Bolton Member, into exotics & Chillies

Hi all, i'm Lou from Bolton, manchester. I own a exotic/ rare/unusual plant nursery and i'm also a full time mum to a 10 month old and an artist/jeweller.

It's pretty cold where we are so I really put exotics to the test. This year i'm growing lots of rare chillies which is new for me plus gold leafed strawberries, bronze fennel etc. basically attractive plants that will fit in with my exotics.

    Cheers Lou

hi tracy here from the canary islands two years ago i started with my chillies and wow what good crops i have with all this warm weather in my first year i wasnt sure how many i was picking each week so last year every saturday (day off ) i would go and pick and record the amount i picked
the highest number on one saturday was 43 and over 10 months i picked 377 chillies of one plant
i think that is preety good but i dont know if that is an average good for a warm country ??? would love to know thanks tracy
