  • New to gardening and The Internet

I took over a neglected allotment about 12 months ago as I got a new job working shifts If you do work shifts there is a temptation to lie in bed till the pubs open on your days off so here I am, learning the hard way

Same with The Internet, I'm something of a technological dinosaur, but my son is helping me with that -- no chance on the allotment though!

    Meet your sister

Have fun with your new allotment. I've only just applied for one and it seems I might be a while waiting

Hi, it's amazing how they will both soon become part of your life. Happy growing!

Good luck to you. There are quite a few of us who are technophobes on here. I may be the worst but I am sure there are others, its trial and error!M Good luck and welcome.

The main thing, when you're new, is to be open to learning. Don't say "I can't, so I won't even try".

          good luck !

            30 Minute allotment

You should check out the post called the 30 Minute Allotment. It's kind of what I did this Spring when I was really behind and didn't want to suffer a heat stroke working in the garden. I think it took DH and I 4 or 5 days of 30 minutes a day to get all the seeds in. Good luck and remember, a garden is only worth what you put into it.
