Hello everyone

I've been reading these forums for ages and I 've finally decided to join.

I've got an allotment in Cardiff. I'm surrounded by retired people who seem to spend every second of the day on their plots. I'm lucky if I can get there twice a week. Consequently, my plot is rather more shaggy than the ones around it.

I've had the plot for about six years and although the family said they would love to help out in the beginning, it's me who does the donkey work. I do get lots of help picking the strawberries though.

Just do what you can do in the time you have available. And if you want to do it - just do it for yourself. Maybe that's not what the family are interested in.
