Newbie says hello!

Just saying Hi, thought it would be a good idea to join up as I always end up reading this forum when I'm searching gardening advice on google!

Been growing edible stuff in my garden for about 5 years now, and hoping to get an allotment soon - it's quite a long list though... I'm number 19 apparently...

As for me, when my hands aren't muddy my prevailing passions are cooking, travel writing and music (in particular the Manchester band James - hence the username! )
