Hi,
moved into our own house last year, and are having a bash at growing our own in the smallish back garden. My profile pic is of our veg patch before it was a veg patch (updated pic to follow).
Am trying to grow the following at present:
apple tree (sunset), strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, onions, leeks, garlic, radishes, french beans, mange tout, broad beans, beetroot, cabbage, potatoes, cauliflower, carrots, parsnips, baby leaf salads and various herbs.
So far we have had some success with strawberries, raspberries are on their way, potatoes should be ready in next couple of weeks, herbs are going mad!
A visiting pigeon has been enjoying our brassicas, despite some netting. Grr! We also seem to have a load of red fly things on our cut and come again lettuce.
