I have joined this forum as I am new to growing veg and need all the advice I can get. I thought my parsnip were doing well until this morning when I found they had little white things on them. They look like tiny white worms. Does anyone know what they are and how to get rid of them?

Hi and welcome! Looks like we're almost neighbours! Can't help with the parsnips - never grown them myself. In fact I'm rubbish at trying winter veg but really want to give it a go this year. I'm relatively new here still - it's a great forum and I'm sure you'll get lots of good advice.
