Hello folks, just would like to introduce myself, I'm Andy, 45 years old and have just discovered that I have a yearning to be self sufficient. I am a biker and scribe for my branch of the Triumph Owners Motor Cycle Club magazine, Nacelle. I have recently bought 2 Khaki Campbell ducks (for eggs) and 5 hens and a cockerell. I grow some veggies in our garden here in rural Dorset and we also have an allotment about 3 miles up the road which has some more veg planted out in it. My wife Shirley and I have 6 children between us, 2 are living home with us and my own 2 live in Winchester. I am waiting for a break in the weather so I can carry on meshing over the chicken run.
