  • Just wanted to say hi!

    Hi!

I've been reading these forums for a few months but only just got around to signing up. I'm a first time veg grower in Berkshire with 2 plots in my garden. I currently have (hopefully) growing:

    Carrots
    Pototoes (in tubs)
Tomatoes (regular and cherry, also in tubs)
    Leeks
    Onions
    Red Onions
    Salad onions
    Runner Beans
    Mange Tout
    Sugarsnap peas
    Spinach
    Mixed green salad leaves
    Oriental mixed salad leaves
    Butternut squash
    2 x chilli plants (inside)
    Sweet peppers (inside)
    Basil (inside)
    Rosemary
    Mint
    Thyme

I also picked up seeds for rocket, radishes and some more salad leaves last night which I shall plant this evening in the few gaps I have (if the weather holds out!).

I may have bitten off slightly more than I can chew but I went for the theory of the more I had a go at, the more likely I was to end up with something

    Noodles

(edited because I remembered a few more thing I'd left off the list!)

Welcome and remember that gardening can be frustrating but also B***** good fun
The greatness comes not when things go always good for you,but the greatness comes when you are really tested, when you take, some knocks, some disappointments;because only if youv'e been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.
