Another newbie

After many months of "lurking" - I've finally registered!

I've been enjoying your informative posts and following the progress of FMs' plots..and now I'm going to pick your collective brains.

We've been here in Morbihan, Brittany since 2002. We have a hectare of land (mainly brambles!) with a decent sized potager (mainly bindweed ). Soil is a lovely sandy loam.

No livestock apart from a mad mongrel and two children.

Weather = wet atm. Not good news for the garden or me! The children broke up from school last week for the 9 week "grand vacances" Wish me luck!

Am thinking about getting some chickens but that is as far as I've got so far.
