Hi!

I'm new to the forum and I actually joined because I'm about to become the new owner of a Victoria Plum tree on Pixie stock, so I was originally looking for tips on fruit trees.

All the same, I was thrilled to see the variety of fora available, since I am a keen gardener and enjoy planing herbs, flowers, and vegetables too.

Any tips would be welcome, since I'm not inexperienced but more mid-range in terms of my experience. I'm definitely not an expert though, and I'm always trying new things in the garden so I could use a bit of advice as I go along.

I also have a dog, so I tend to think mainly organically as regards pest-control as much as possible, so, again, any tips would be great!

I know nothing about fruit trees I'm afraid - in fact, I know very little about anythin gardening related, but I certainly know more now than I did this time last year thanks to the folks on these pages.
