Hello everyone..!!
In the last 2 yrs I've become severely sight-impaired, but now I'm spending more time in my Garden & enjoying it so much, that my wife's started getting jealous..! Well its like I'm having an affair with the Bushes, Birds & Butterflies....!
I cant see much but I can vaguely recognise Green, Red & Yellow/Orange colours. I want to learn to grow my own Veg, so hope to learn from your expertise.

Sounds like you're enjoying your gardening experiences!!
No doubt one of the first things you'll have done is make a herb patch so you can enjoy all the scents?

What sort of veg are you planning to grow?
Tubs or in the ground???

Hi Mony, welcome. There are plenty of green, red, orange/yellow veg that you shouldn't have any trouble picking out. Some gorgeous squashes and pumpkins come to mind and of course, tomatoes in abundance.

Good luck with it all. The Mrs won't mind when you come in with your arms laden with produce!

Thanks for welcome messages. I am initially preparing a 15ft by 5ft Veg-patch, in my garden for next year, where I'd like to grow French beans, Sweet corn & Lettuce. I would like to grow Peppers/Chillies, Tomatoes & Potatoes in some sort of containers. Being strict vegetarians in our diet ( dont eat fish nor eggs), any veg I can grow would be very appreciated. I've started filling up 2 compost-bins so I should have some compost next year and last year I aquired a rain-water collecting barrel so I'm trying to do my bit for the environment & reduce my Carbon footprint. I have so much to learn about growing my own Veg, but that will be the fun & adventure to give me the incentive in my gardening despite my disabilities.
I say 'Keep smiling...' because a Smile is easy to grow, has no fragrance or colour, but like a flower it conveys Love & Happiness..!!

Lovely to meet you! You should have plenty of room in the veggie garden to grow all sorts of fab things! I have tried to grow things that are either silly expensive in the shops or things that taste sooo much better homegrown (actually, that's probably most things!)
Whereabouts are you? (We are a nosey lot!)
