  • Hi Everyone

Joined up today after being amazed by this friendly and helpful forum.
Last year I put myself on the local allotment council list and seem to still be number 26 a year on
Luckily I have a garden and have made a few raised veggie beds in which I grow, carrots, broccoli, kale, parsnips, courgette, cucumber, spring onions, lettuce, beetroot, mange tout and tomatoes. I would love to grow more but alas me thinks I have a few more years on the waiting list.
I have 6 chookies (ex-battery girls); they keep us in plentiful supply of eggs and manure - oh and also rake over the veggie patch and recycle any unwanted veg.
Look forward to reading though all this great info and contribute my small in comparison knowledge

hi there, i'm a newby here as of june but everone on the forum has been great in helping me with all my silly little questions, feel free to ask away evryone here is really friendly. i put my name down for an allotment a few months ago and i think i'm about thirty something on the list eek, i think i'll be waiting a while which a pain in the arse because i really have the bug for this now and i'm only allowed to use pots and part of my parent's raised flower bed.

say hi to your chicks from me, i would love to have some

    speak to you soon
