  • New member, new Greenhouse.

Hi all, I have been gardening a few years now and grew up on a horticultural nursery and tree wholesaler. I have always loved growing thing but have so much to learn and am really looking forward to learning from all of your knowledge. I was recently given a greenhouse so am looking forward to see what everyone does with their greenhouses.

Hello and welcome. At the moment my greenhouses are completely empty and neglected apart from two grapevines but as things warm up hopefully they will get filled

Hello and welcome to the vine Esjay

Over winter I grew lettuce in the borders and some in buckets, but just now I've got peas in guttering, seedlings such as chard, spinach, and kales.
Once its gets warmer I will have toms, cucumbers, basil and chillis.

Thank you all for the input. I've had a look on the link and have just ordered more shelving as my ever growing seed addiction I will definitely need it.

Hello and welcome, Esjay. I don't have a greenhouse, so I'm green with envy. However, I do have a seed addiction...

Best wishes for a great growing year.

Hello Esjay welcome to the forum I don’t have a greenhouse,I use plastic blowaway shelving,it doesn’t blowaway anymore though, heavy patio chairs hold them in place enjoy your greenhouse & plant a few French marigolds in there if you can,to keep whitefly away from your tomato plants, they don’t nest near them.
