Hi folks hope you are well,
Name is Craig and I hail from the North East of Scotland. I have been wanting to grow my own fruit and veg for a good few years now and have managed not kill the plants in my small endevours. I have recently moved house and want to start properly. I dont have massive amounts of room so a lot will be raised beds and pots with one section straight to soil. There is so much info out there that it can get a bit confusing with all the different ideas. I have been reading up recently on the 3 foot gardening and lasagne garden which seems quite interesting.
Ideally I would like to use heirloom varieties or those which I can get seed from and re-plant the next year. Long term, plan is first to get all areas ready for planting for the growing season and build slowly from there including a greenhouse/polytunnel addition at some point trying to keep it simple and let it grow alongside my knowledge and experience.
Look forward to seeing you all on the forum.
All the best
Craig
