Hi everyone. Happy New Year. I'm snapdragon from Sussex. Ive really enjoyed reading different gardening threads this afternoon, both funny and informative! Anyway, about me. Im a green fingered half centurion and Ive been gardening since I was little but like all things the longer you have been doing things the more you realise there is to know.
Ive got a good sized vegetable and soon fruit garden and my resolution this year is to try and be as self sufficient as possible, which is gonna take a huge amount of planning, hardwork and luck I should imagine. Im laid up with this cold bug thats doing the rounds at the moment so am using the time to plan, plan, plan, and read the different forums. Looking forward to reading and joining in the forums. Half centurion? If, by that you mean 50ish, I don't like the sound of it 'cause that makes me one too

I have only been veg gardening "proper" for 3 years so this year I WILL be better at sucessional sowing and still have veg well into the winter months.

You'll have some great advice from everyone on here - I know I have.
