  • Hi. Nice to meet you all.

I have been reading the forum for several months now and thought it was time to register and become part of this obsessional thing called gardening.
Two years ago I had never grown anything. Indeed it was only last year that apart from flowers, for the first time in my life I grew tomato's & cucumbers.
I am now addicted, and require huge doses of hours per day in my garden.
I shall be concentrating mostly on Veg from seed this year, although I have promised the OH I will keep pots & borders full of colorful flowers.
I hope to make some sort of blog in time to share with all the other fantastic blogs I have read through amongst this site.
    Hello again,
    Kindest regards Tony.
Never mind the TWADDLE here's the SIX PETALS.

Welcome to the vine Tony. You soon get hung up on veg and your flowers suffer - until you find out that there are lots of flowers you can eat too. I do a very colourful salad in the summer!

                      Welcome to the Vine
Before I got my allotments the front garden was a mixture of flowers and veg. Lettuces make great edging plants; climbing french & runner beans and tall peas look pretty enough growing up a wigwam; courgettes make good ground cover, have nice flowers and you can get yellow fruited ones that look nice & taste nice
