Just popped in to say hello
After some attempts at container growing, took the plunge and made space in garden for two raised beds. Lot of hard work this week removing two conifer bushes and part of a flowering blackcurrant, with some help?! of our dog and pup. Have just used some bricks we had as a temporary bed edges to see how things work this year. next task is to put down some of our own compost and get some decent soil to top it with.
Enjoying reading some of the tips on here.

conifer take alot of goodness out of the ground, i would put aload of manure on to get a good crop this year
