  • Cornish Newbie

Hi all, new to this site. Have been browsing this morning and think it is a great site with heaps of information/advice.

My name is Jo, I live in Cornwall with my OH and our two children and far too many animals

Have grown veggies before, but my Dad was around then and got me started. Decided to give it another go this year so no doubt you will be bombarded with lots of numpty questions

Look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi and welcome - you're only a numpty if you don't know and you don't ask! We all had to learn at one time or another.
              Good luck with the growing.

                  Welcome to the Vine kibob
My OH's family is from Launceston, but as he was born in Bath he doesn't count as a Cornishman (or so I keep telling him to wind him up ).
Hope you have a great season.

Welcome kibob - I shall return home whence my dearest hubby (you will see him referred to as Snowdrop in here, cos he is RAF Copper) finally stops working for Queen and Country

I used to work for the Cornish Guardian and often worked out of the Newquay Guardian office - ah pleasant days.

M & D still live in Newquay, I grew up in village between Truro and St Austell and moved to Newquay with parents as a teenager (bad timing eh!). would love to live back down there (my eldest daughter lives with her mum at threemilestone) but as there is only one hospital, jobs and opportunities are a little limited.

enjoy the vine, and don't be afraid to ask
