  • Evening all!

Hi everyone, I'm Emma form near Grimsby. Been reading Grow Your Own mag for about 9 months!(not the same one, get a new one evey month ) New to Grapevine this week! not sure of my way around really, but finding it a useful site for info! Took on a lottie last Mayish time, put half down to raised beds, rest fruit etc. Keen gardener, mum of 2 children and three dogs, one husband not so keen on the gardening milarky! Have had chucks in the past and hoping to in the near future.
Looking forward to making like minded friends to share information and chit chat!

        Hi and welcome.

Nice area up your way, we visited in June last year and will be back again this year (Land Rover Show at Manby near Louth).

Good luck with the lottie - that is if you don't get addicted to The 'Vine like the rest of us

That's part of the reason this forum, above most others, is so addictive - you can learn a lot but above all, none of us take life toooooo seriously and have a lot of fun on here.

Thanks everyone! I'm addicted to my lottie, and now it seems I'm addicted to Grapevine too!!!
Just need time to navigate my way round! :0)
May be a dumb question, but does cropper, sprouter, seedling etc etc relate to postings????

Hi and welcome to the vine. As already stated highly addictive and loads of good friendly advice too

The Cropper sprouter seedling etc relates to the number of posts.... as you can see, I've not been here long, but spend waaaayyyy to much time here Look at it as a sign of how friendly the people are

What do you plan on growing this year?
Never test the depth of the water with both feet

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory....

Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

                  emmylou welcome
the only trouble with the grapevine is that you end up so sucked into it you forget that other thing you were going to be doing... um what was that now....
er something to do with plants....

Hi and welcome - you're not too many miles away from me. In fact I'm looking at North Lincs for my chickens in a month's time.
Lovely place, the grapevine, and gardeners are lovely people. Nice to meet you.

Are you coming to N E Lincs for the chickens? As I said, I'm hoping to get some shortly, was going to look for some pure breeds. Not sure where to go for them!
