  • Hi I haven't a clue!

Hi I am new found this forum while looking up every website I could trying to find out how to grow some fruit and veg in pots in my conservatory. Anyway I made a start today and bought a planter and some strawberry plants(well rooty things) myself and the kids spent the afternoon planting them.

Any help or advice is appreciated thinking maybe potatoes next?

Hi and welcome. Growing in pots is very popular and can be successful. The secret is in the watering!

          Good luck.

Thanks! no doubt I'll have dozens of questions but really want to give it a try and the kids are all excited. My little one was looking in the planter this morning asking me when we were going to plant the strawberries in it? - I told her we did. She said no we didn't we have to go to the shop to buy them and put them into it! She can't understand that the roots we planted will grow(Hopefully)

Hi & welcome! Have grown quite a bit in containers myself, you'll have great fun. As flummery says, the main thing is to keep them watered.
