    Hellooo

well after a fairly successfully growing season last year, well okay we had loads of courgettes and more and yes even more. spinach kept us sane and the cabbage was sacrificed to keep up butterfly populations. and the corn was a bit disappointing and broccoli a definite failure
this year we decided to go full out, tear up the grass areas (thank you lidl's for providing the electric rotovator (£47 ) saving my back) and grow LOTS more but this time with more nutrient's added to the soil

aiming to go as much self-sufficient as possible this year, mushrooms in the shed (any tips plse?!?!) runner beans, potatoes, tomatoes, courgettes, carrots, corn on the cob, lettuce, various herbs, leaks, cabbage, broccoli and a few fruit bushes

    anyways off to browse

Welcome Nelly to the friendly nuttyvine.

Can't advise on shrooms as mine were distasterous and now given up, good luck with the rest of the stuff. I'm doing kale this year as I stand a better chance with flutterbies and giving up on caulies, cabbage and swede altogether, will have to see how it goes
