Ahh the Watercress line Jilly, yeah it attracts alot of families, as the kids love the steam engines. Did you have a nightmare parking? It soon fills up in the town, sorry about that.

Parking wasn;t easy,But eventually we squeezed in! I have a friend who lives in Ropley so i have been a few times and i love the watercress line.We celebrated our anniversary by having a meal on a steam train there once.

Con Gratz Jilly better late than never funny you should mention Ropley it's where I lived when I first came to Hampshire. Very beautiful countryside, I originally came from Dorset so it was similar

Theres no beating the greens hills of Dorset though

Yep, I know Alresford - I was in Bordon, not the nicest part of Hampshire but never took long to drive to a nicer part
