  • Hello at last!

    Hi all!

Am not exactly new to this site, I've been lurking and reading the forums during 'off peak' periods at work.. lol

I'm H, new to growing veg, I think I class myself as a junior gardener, as OH is far more experienced at this malarky than me!

This is our 2nd season of gyo, we have now acquired 2 greenhouses, and have built a raised bed, along with a myriad of pots, containers etc. I love being able to go and pick something from the garden, cook it and eat it within half an hour of it leaving the ground.

Anyways, hello to everyone, will be hanging around alot more now.. any hints and tips about what 'does' well in Teesside would be much appreciated!

    Cheers

    H

      We, already have growing...
      Tom's (Gardener's Delight and a Plum Variety)
      Basil (exact name escapes me)
      Ancho chilli's
      Celeriac
      Scarlet Kale
      Leeks
      Beetroot (boltardy)
erm.. I think thats it for now!

Tried Purple Basil last year but it all failed.. think we've got 100% germination for this year though
