Ello Everyone. Greetings from a new member. We are into our fifth year of our allotment and love it. Our aim is to be totally self sufficient veg wise and we are almost there! We manage to harvest enough for a meal at each visit to the plot, even during the winter. Our fruit cage has gooseberries,blackcurrants and a red currant bush. We keep the strawberries at home due to them being nicked from the plot. Last year, I tried my hand at jam making and was delighted with the results....I will NEVER buy jam again!
