Hi folks, been using the forum for the last few weeks...or is it months now? And I adore it. I've learned so much, it's been great.
Finally decided to find the time to properly introduce my self. We moved to the country a couple of years ago with our 4 horses, 2 cats, 6 chickens, 1 wee dog....oh and of course the OH (John) and the children - 1 boy; 1 girl.
Never grown a thing before but got the bug last year and had a few reasonably successful crops. As I suspect always happens, the 'bug' just takes hold and before oyu know it you are talking about veg all day long and spending as much time as posible in the veggie garden! Horses and cats, not to mention humans, think I've gone made I suspect!
Chickens think it's great cos they are getting lots of 'greens' now!
Anyway, enough rambling! Thanks for all the advice so far - both direct and indirect - and I wish us all a happy and SUCCESSFUL growing season this year.
