  • The latest newbie....

    ......is probably me.

Close to zero experience in growing things, other than my waistline which I've proven to be reasonably good at over the years.

Decided to stick a greenhouse in the corner of the garden last year and this year I've actually put something in it.

So far there's tomato, chilli, courgette and I stuck a pile of lettuce and stuff in there too which might have been a bad idea :/

I live in a far-off land known only to a few, that goes by the name of Northern Ireland, so I figured it was baltic enough for most things to go in the greenhouse rather than outside.

Welcome to the vine R2D2. Know what you mean about the weather in this part of the world! I start most things in the greenhouse then plant out - except spuds of course!
A good beginning is half the work.
Praise the young and they will make progress.

Welcome R2D2, Sadly I have to tell you that GYO does nothing to reduce the waistline. True, there's more exercise involved than a quick drive to the supermarket, but everything tastes so much better it's tempting to eat more of it.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.
