  • Bizzy bee landed (ginger ninger)

    Hi everyone,

After buzzing around for a few days I thought it only polite that Ishould land and introduce myself.
I'm Janet, I have a cat called "Jinny" (see picky at top) who adopted me in 2007, he'd been abandoned. When OH & me bought our house I dicided to turned what was a plain back yard into a garden, I made a large raised bed, bought a small second hand green house, but I'm planing on buying a new one when money permits, lots of bendy buckets and pots. It took a lot of hard work and pulled back muscles, but it was worth it, Ive been growing veg for quite a few this year now, now't better than picking your own veg, from plot to pot to plate in 10 Min's it dosen't get better than that!
I hope I'm able to help other grapes, and that they can help me.
A special thanks to lemon for making me fell so welcome, Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the madhouse! You're a couple of years ahead of me in the growing stakes, so I wish you a bumper harvest!

Aw.......shucks! Thanks Ginger Ninger...........only did what others here'd do!!

I've only been growing since we got our house 3 years ago. First year, just had 4 courgette plants and 4 tomatoes. (FOUR courgette plants! What was I THINKING!?!?) Had so many courgettes couldn't give 'em away quick enough! Was giving them to family who passes what they couldn't eat to THEIR friends and THEIR in-laws!!

Now we have 2 veg beds, 2 chickens 6 hanging baskets and a whole variety of stuff in garden! Always learn something new from the knowledgeable lot on 'ere too!

I know you'll enjoy it on here - they don't bite (hard that is!)
