Hello to all fellow allotmenteers!
Introduced to this forum by the o/h Jabbawocky. As he says we got our plots about 3 years ago. The only casualty this year so far has been three rows of peas. The first three rows came up and are growing really strongly but the second sowing-nothing. Only one plant! Mice or squirrels maybe?
When we first got the plots (I've just realised that I have GAINED the plot-not LOST it!) we never thought we'd be able to fill them but we have now run out of room. Hopefully this year we'll manage complete self sufficiency on the veggie front as we almost made it last year.
There isn't much we aren't willing to try and grow and are enjoying experimenting with different things. We have a row of celeriac growing well at the moment and one of the other plotholders has given us a couple of dozen celery plants. We'd love some chickens and I'd like bees but sadly not allowed on an L/A site
