    hi all im a newbe

    hi all I'm a newbie to the site and would like to say a big hi to all
    i have a veg patch in my back garden and also a green house.
    i have tyred to grow a few things but not much luck with them.
    th best things i can grow so far are tomatoes, raspberry's and Cherry's and plums.
    but this year i brought 2 cox trees so hopefully will get some apples in a few years
    hopefully you all can give me a few tips as i ask for help thanks.

    Greetings. Re. the Cox trees: unless a neighbour has got an apple tree that blossoms at about the same time, you'll need a pollenator of a different variety to get any fruit.

      well it blossmed late ie in dec lol as when i got them it was dec and i could not keep them in th packets so it did look odd seeing the flowers in winter lol
      but we get lots of bees in my garden from the rassburrys and cerry and plum tree so i dont think i will have troble with that

            You'll like it here, it's a nice neighbourhood. I 'moved in' in April and everyone's so friendly and helpful.

                yep we do grow them they are sill green but are geting much bigger now.
                also nerly all they creeys have gone been giveing them to everyone ie mates and pepole that live down our road as we got to manny lol.
                sill a few on tree now but now have the starings trying to eat them lol
