Well I'm new to the site and loving all the information i've found already! This is my second year of growing veg and loving every minute of it We have a small vegetable patch in our back garden growing potatoes (in old bins) tomatoes, peppers,pak choi,courgettes,runner beans and broad beans.

The defence estates have decided to let us build some allotment plots on the Air field next to the Barracks for the Service families to use, so hopefully next month all will be in place and i will have my first allotment plot

We are close to Saffron Walden in Essex. We moved down from Catterick last year! I love North Yorkshire : )

You're in a beautiful area, check out your local Farmers Market once a month in the Village Hall - I used to go there before growing my own veg - it's small but a really great one!
