  • Delurking..

Finally came out of lurkdom and registered on the site so thought i should say hi.

Having had a plot in the past, which work took back due to changed plans for the land, I have been plotless for more than a few years now. By the powers of landshare I now have a lovely (overgrown but who cares, I like a challenge and far less pernicious weeds than a plot of reclaimed agricultural land) back garden not too far from me.

Since I got the plot I stumbled across this forum and while lurking it's already been really useful to me (elderflower champagne in 2l pop bottles and doing grand thankyou all!!!) First bit of the plot cleared before we went into monsoon conditions and I risked planting some seeds as well as some bought plants - kale seeds, the one thing I REALLY missed my allotment for, you just can't get good kale in the shops and my veg box has it few and far between... Am I allowed to bounce already on here and say at least it's germinataed!!! May be a little late in the day - spesh as I'm in Scotland so we get colder earlier - but worth the risk for trying to get some!!!

This is a bit of a tome for an intro - glad to have found this site and really enjoyed reading your exploits & achievements, I just hope to join in now rather than just lurk!!!!

Welcome, Pendragon. That's a good cornish name, and exmoor ponies too - in Scotland. I'm intrigued. Hope you enjoy being out of lurkdom.
