Hello! My (nick)name is Ruz and I've had a plot since February and yes, I'm smitten, addicted and my housework has gone to pot!! I had NO idea it would have such a pull, be so rewarding and cause so many aches, physical and emotional (like when ALL my beautiful nearly ripe tomatoes keeled over and were gone in a flash with late blight)
And all these bugs, butterflies and birds!! (and Weeds...)
You all seem such nice folk and I am happy to be joining you. I've so much to learn

Hi ginger ninger (love the name) thanks for the welcome and the sympathy - never mind, there's always next year. I've been reading up about it. Not as easy to grow tomatoes as one imagines and of course I was doing everything wrong - lots of watering all over the plants, no mulch, etc etc. Just about everything they say don't do, I did
