im michelle and live in southampton i have had my half a plot since last december after only a year on waiting list

I am also in southampton...small world eh?
I am really surprised you got a plot in under a year....I am currently 128th on the waiting list!! I was expecting to get a call in approx 86 years!!

Also I have heard rumours the the council are trying to hold plots back with an eye to the dreaded redevelopment.

Perhaps it depends which allotment site you opt for....good luck anyway!
