    G'Day All

Ok I am not an Aussie but have not long returned from traveling there.

I am a qualified Greenkeeper but although you would think all this would be a breeze for me I don't really have the foggiest when it comes to veg Sure I understand about soil and plenty of other stuff but when it comes to when to plant a spud I don't have a clue...... Well I do but you get my point!

Well enough going on about me, I hope to make some friends and give as well as receive some wonderful advice and tips here (I have been lurking for a while )

I have just landed my allotment, got a nice new potting shed in a path laid and half the digging done (as well as removing 2 years worth of weeds, brambles and some very strange items) so should get the onions, garlic and beans in soon

    Chat to you all soon,

TheHat (The name given to me at my allotment by an old gent called Ginger (don't even know his real name) due to the Aussie Roo skin hat i wear all the time down the) Vince

Welcome to the vine TheHat - and you are a close neighbour of mine! Any questions - just ask (won't know the answers but there is no harm in trying!)
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
