  • Evening All, Time to say Hi

Hi everyone. Geek from Cheltenham here. I have been lurking for ages and love everything I read but thought it was time to sign up and say hi.

The reason for coming out of the shadow? well, about two months ago I got myself an allotment and have been trying to just dig it over since. with the new year approaching I can see myself needing a lot of help and advice especially with me wanting to try everything at one *grin*.

Hope everyone is well and look forward to chatting with lots of you in the future.

BTW. I have found it amazing how much and hour of digging on the plot relaxes me. I get quite stressed at work and have found it a wonderful release at weekends (to dark in the evenings at the mo)

    oh well, better stop rambling

hi and welcome to the madhouse. I to have finally got my lottie. Great time to get them as you got enough time to prep for the new growing season!

Hello and welcome. Digging is quite a good full-body workout so it does relax you - as long as you don't overdo it!

                              Hi & welcome!

I just got my allotment on 26th November and have been digging ever since. I agree that it is very relaxing. I spent a couple of hours all on my own, minus my 3 littlies, just digging and enjoying the sun (in the morning) and the sounds of birds. Brilliant!

Good luck & have fun. We need to see some photo's of your progress!
