  • Whoops, how rude of me!

Sorry all shouldve done this ages ago! Please forgive me! Anyway, my names Donna and I live in Leeds, snowing at the moment! I have new allotment that we are slowly removing couchgrass fromAnd have an older lotty too. Both are quarter plots and we share them between households 2-3, although there are 2 of us that are the veg nerds! My other half has been invaluable on the digging front though! I have a long back garden, cut in half by a beck prone to flooding and most of it is in shade except a concrete bit! It also has woodland backing onto it so we play host to a variety of squirrels and I hate to say it a family of rats that I'm not keen on!
So thats me really, except to say that as a stay at home mum for the past 7 years vegetables have thrown me a lifeline!

    Nice to meet you all

Hi Donna and welcome! Good luck with your lottie. My youngest son lives in Leeds so I knew it was snowing up there. Still no snow where I live in South Wales but they've just closed the heads of the valleys road (4 inches of snow there).
Let us all know how you get on with growing stuff.
