Greetings From Glasgow!

Hi everyone!

Just stumbled across this website thanks to Facebook of all places and this forum looks like it is everything I need

After a few years of trying to get an allotment in Glasgow (several years waiting list), and a few years of stressing my wife with growing things indoors I've managed to persuade my mum into letting me dig up part of her garden to let me grow my own produce.

I started preparing the soil in September and I've already got onion and garlic bulbs growing. I did have plans for what I wanted to grow in my garden but christmas bought lots of seeds as presents which means I am now going to have to ask my mum for a bit more garden!

Sorry seem to be waffling on a bit... Just thought I'd introduce myself

Hello Supraflyguy welcome to the vine, you waffle away if you want, we do ...looks like Mum's going to lose most of her garden then, give her some lovely home grown veg later on in the season...she'll forgive you.

Hi I'm new to this forum, it was recommended by a customer, looks brilliant. My mum helps me in the garden, I'd be lost without her she starts all my plants off for me.
Have mentioned this forum to my daughter also and she is thinking of joining, she is a very keen gardener and even did a RHS course this year!
My life is always so hectic, I run a business with my husband and compete on my horse and garden flower and veg .................
Our Christmas dinner was pretty much all produced by us, including the bird, leeks, parsnips, sprouts.
