although i have been using this site since last july, this is the first time i have looked on this heading,originally from outside birmingham,moved to ayrshire in2001 with my job ,18mths later they shut everything down and shipped all orders to the midlands.had to stop work in 03 and now potter around garden(gardening for 35 years),veg,fruit,bonsai and now chook-keeping all stop me sitting watching daytime tv,time enough for that when legs have gone, we get plenty of rain around here,so some years are challenging. i do love to hear of other peoples successes and their solutions to problems,there is so much knowledge out there,so much experience that i dont think we will ever know it all and on here we get access to that expertise.

get the name from the amateur footie club next door,good folks who help the local kids with free training etc,really welcomed when we moved here and whenwe lost everything in big fire,they were queueing up to help anyway they could, luckily we always paid our insurance,so all now rebuilt 18 mths ago.
